hey girl! have any ideas for short haircuts for thick hair? or am i doomed to have long thick hair FOREVER

Unfortunately I don’t- I’ve had super long hair for about 12 years :( But if you go to google you can find TONS of ideas. My suggestion would be cut it a bit at a time till you find something you like? How long is your hair now?

Followers? any suggestions? (Sorry- it’s been so long since I’ve had short hair I don’t really remember much)

hey, I'm the anon who asked about the hair loss. I found out that my hair loss is just due to poor diet. I've got my subscribed medication and everything. thing is, is it possible to restore the thickness of my hair again? does hair fall from the follicles? or can the hair loss be corrected and thus naturally restore its thickness again?

It’s possible. My moms hair got thicker hen she balanced her thyroid levels. It depends person to person.

I have SUPER thick hair and this is just some advice, instead of using 2 or more ponytails to hold up your hair, I found these ponytails that have edges on them. I LOVE THEM SO MUCH. I only need one. You can get a pack of like 10 at Walmart for 5 bucks.

this is just a suggestion for people who get frizzy hair from blow drying, but it worked great for me... i just use vo5: smoothly does it frizz free creme when my hair's damp, right before i dry it, i hope it works for you too!

everyone here is so damn lucky to have thick hair. my hair used to be thick until it started thinning so bad for no reason at all. do you have any tips to prevent hair loss and to restore the thickness of my hair again? my hair so thin and falls out too much and I despise it.

It depends on why it’s thinning. My mom’s hair thinned out because she was Hypothyroid. I know other conditions and medications can trigger your hair to thin.

I’d suggest making sure you are getting all the vitamins you need, and protein. A friend of mine found that her hair got thicker when she used anti dandruff shampoo because her scalp was healthier.

A CHI straightener is the only straightener I have found that stays hot enough to straighten all my hair without taking breaks!! Taking 3 hours to curl all my hair that stays for 15 minutes, it takes 2 hair ties to hold it all up…and the extra 5-10 pounds on the scale isn’t awesome either!!

So, my hair is REALLY complicated. It's not long (medium length) it goes past my collar bone and it's REALLY curly, not an afro, but it's just random curls all over the place, and it's really thick. Any tips on how to maintain healthy hair for my hair type?

Wow okay I thought I was the only one who experienced the sticky hair thing, I experience it with so many different brands. The worst was the Pantene for medium to thick hair... It took me 4 different times of washing with clarifying shampoo to get it out...:/

I had the same problem with the Garnier sleek and shine. And with Dove. I’m starting to not like the shampoo I’m using now. They stopped making my favorite :-(
